Pokémon Go Game

As you as probably noticed in the news, there is a new smartphone game called Pokémon Go that is garnering a lot of media attention. While the game offers the opportunity to get folks out and about searching for Pokemon characters to capture, these players could present a potential security or safety issue depending on where their trek takes them. For example, some energy companies have reported game players near power substations and other facilities which is a huge safety hazard.

If your organization is concerned about security and safety concerns surrounding this app, there is a way to have a location removed from the game. There is an article on the TechRepublic website which explains the procedure; you can find the article at

Hope this helps.
